HOW DOES TREATMENT WORK?

You will attend for an initial assessment with a clinician - this session can last between 50 and 90 minutes. Following this session you will usually attend weekly, these sessions will be 50 minutes long unless agreed previously. There is also a report/letter writing service for an extra fee.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?

24 hours notice is required if you need to cancel or move a session. If you do not allow this time then you will be charged full price for the missed session.

DO I NEED A REFERAL FROM MY GP?

No - you can self refer to the clinic.

DO YOU HAVE PARKING?

There are 1 hour stay spaces around the building or a multi story car park further up the road, this is signposted. The wellness centre is also close to the bus routes into the town centre and the train station.

DO YOU HAVE DISABLED ACCESS?

Yes - the building is designed for wheel chair access.

WHAT ARE YOU CLINIC OPENING HOURS?

Monday 9.30am - 5.30pm

Tuesday 9.30am - 5.30pm

Wednesday 9.30am - 8pm

Thursday 9.30am - 8pm

Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm

HOW LONG WILL I BE IN THERAPY?

Each client is different and the issues they are experiencing can impact them in different ways too, therefor each course length of therapy can be different.

ARE THE SESSIONS CONFIDENTIAL?

Yes, all sessions are 100% confidential. The only time information may be shared is with a GP, or if a client is under 16 information may be shared with a parent, guardian or other case involved professionals. Consent will always be sought for this unless the client is at risk to themselves or someone else.
